What is new of Pitlochry Church of Scotland

Sunday Worship throughout the year begins at 10.30 am .  There is a crèche for very young children and, for primary age children, the Sunday Club meets in church for the first part of the service before going to The Tryst for group activities.

During July and August there is an additional service at 9.30 am for families and people of all ages.  The crèche and the Sunday Club do not meet at this time.

The main Communion Services are  the 1st Sunday of February, June and October.  There is a short Communion service after the 10.30 am services on the first Sunday of the other months.

At certain times of the year, particularly at Christmas, Easter and Harvest Thanksgiving, the choir provide special items of music and at many of the services the singing is accompanied by a praise band in addition to the organ.

Worship is conducted weekly in Chequers Home for the Elderly and monthly in the Irvine Memorial Hospital and at James Court (Sheltered Housing).  These services are conducted by various clergy and laity.
