What’s New?

The Revd Mary Haddow, who conducted Morning Service on 22nd January as sole nominee for the post of minister of our congregation, received overwhelming support in the vote which took place afterwards.  A “Call” is currently being signed by members and adherents of the congregation and will be brought before a meeting of the Presbytery on 21st February.

Wednesday 8 February
Meeting of The Guild.  Our February meeting is an afternoon one again (just in case of bad weather).  At 2.30pm we shall have an informal look at this year's Guild Discussion Topic: thanking God for His creation.  Please bring along a photo, postcard or calendar view that has 'taken your breath away' and made you stop in wonder at the beauty of God's creation.

Saturday 25 February
There will be a coffee morning in The Tryst from 10.00 to 11.45am to help raise funds for the running of the Community Bus. Usual stalls.  Entry ticket £2.

Wednesday 29 February
Lent meetings begin.  Theme: “Pathways on the Way to Freedom”.  The first meeting is in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with the topic “What is freedom?”.
